Spiderman on Broadway!

I'm trying to act like I'm excited about this. Spiderman on Broadway. Fuck yea! I love musicals and shit. Live action rocks. Fuck. I don't really give a shit. But maybe you do.

The New York Post has details on Julie Taymor's new Spiderman Broadway awesome thing. Spidy will battle such familiar villains as Green Goblin, Carnage, Electro, Rhino, Swarm and The Lizard. Wow. This is gonna be a long play.

Spidy will also deal with a new villain, created just for this run, Swiss Miss. Eiko Ishioka, the guy who did the costumes for Bram Stokers Dracula, came up with her costume of rotating knives and swirling corkscrews. Swiss Miss? What the fuck. The costume sounds kind of cool, but fuck, way to lame it up. Comic book villains created for movies or in this case musicals are pretty much always the lamest characters ever. Why has no one realised this.

Anyway, It's supposed to be pretty cool, and I'm sure if I lived in Manhattan I'd get fucking hammered some night and check it out. So if you're in the area, that's probably what you should do. I've got to go talk Mikey out of getting a Swiss Miss tattoo.
