Mark Millar's American Jesus

Man, I'm riding Mark Millar's jock so much these last few days, even I'm mistaking myself for Thom.

In other Mark Millar news, I told you about how he and filmmaker Matthew Vaughn are wrapping up on Kick-Ass. Well, they're about to jump into bed together again with Millar's American Jesus.

I always knew American Jesus as one of the greatest punk rock anthems ever. Evidently it's a comic series too. Who knew? Millar and Peter Gross' American Jesus started out as a three shot called Chosen. After Millar decided to do the story as three different miniseries, the name changed to American Jesus. It's all about Jesus returning to the modern world and starting the confrontation with the Anti-Christ to save humanity. No word yet on if Marilyn Manson will actually be the Anti-Christ or not. Stay tuned!

So this looks to be then next work from the Millar/Vaughn duo. Sounds cool guys. Hope it Kicks-Ass. Fuck that was way too lame. Anyway, looking forward to more on this one. Sorry I suck...
