The British Invasion continues, only this time it's not Red Coats or music, it's BBC TV shows being adapted by American TV stations. Joining the long list of imported shows that either are currently on the air, or about to be, NBC is bringing the genealogy themed reality show Who Do You Think You Are? stateside. The premise of the show is bringing in celebrities and then researching their family trees to find out their ancestry. Wow. Hard hitting stuff.
Some early stars that are on board include Lisa Kudrow, Susan Sarandon and Sarah Jessica Parker. The show will begin April 20th and occupy the 8pm time slot that will be left open by the season finale of Chuck. Well, I guess I'll have something to flip past on nights when I'm not trying to catch the few episodes of Dollhouse before it gets canned from being buried in a shit time slot.
