The A-Team are motherfuckin' back! ...or at least they will be. Twentieth Century Fox is reloading the franchise with plans for a summer 2010 film. Joe Carnahan will direct the Ridley Scott production with executive producer Tony Scott. Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell, original TV creators of the show will also be on board to produce.
Where as the original A-Team were Vietnam vets who escaped military prison after committing an armed robbery that go on to become do-gooder mercs, the current incarnation will have them as Middle Eastern vets. Other than the back story though, little is still known about who may or may not be on board as well as what the overall story to the movie will be. I loved the A-Team as a kid, FOX. You'd better do right by it, but don't worry, I'm not holding my breath. We'll keep you posted.
